Our teachers strive to provide our students with an engaging, rigorous curriculum that reflects the Common Core State Standards. Through daily work in the reading, grammar, and writing skills that students need to be successful in all of their classes, LJMS language arts classes endeavor to challenge students to think critically and to express themselves clearly and effectively in their speech and writing. Our classes provide students with opportunities to work independently and collaboratively, and encourage active student engagement.
