I was born and raised in Rohnert Park California. I attended LaFiesta and Evergreen Elementary Schools, the Rohnert Park Junior High and graduated from Rancho Cotate in 1990. I furthered my education at California State University Long Beach. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education in 1996, with an emphasis in Athletic Training and Teaching. I completed my teaching credential in 1997. I began teaching in Los Angeles Unified School District, where I taught for 9 years. During that time I received a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I began working for the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District in 2006. It is a pleasure to work in this community, where I have many family and friends.
