Our campus first opened in 1995 as Creekside Middle School, and in 2010 we became Lawrence E. Jones Middle School when the district’s two middle schools came together. We are a comprehensive middle school serving grades 6–8, and our focus is on learning and creating opportunities for every student to thrive.
At LJMS, students can get involved in a wide range of programs; including band, drama, after-school sports, clubs, and exciting enrichment classes. We’re proud to offer something for everyone and to foster a community where students can discover their passions, build connections, and grow.

Districtwide Earthquake Drill – October 16, 2025
Get Ready to ShakeOut!
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, CRPUSD will participate in a districtwide earthquake drill as part of the Great ShakeOut. This important safety exercise is being conducted in partnership with Rohnert Park Public Safety, Cotati Police, Sonoma State University, the City of Cotati, the City of Rohnert Park, and North Bay Security.
The purpose of the drill is to ensure that our students and staff know how to respond quickly and safely in the event of an earthquake.
We are proud to work with our community partners to strengthen safety and preparedness for everyone. Thank you for your support in helping us create a safe learning environment for all students.
